Eventful Day

Compost arrived at 6.30am this morning.Approximately 10 tons or 35 cubic meters.A second imidicept load ready for potting perennials etc. into.
At 8 am we had a load of concrete arrive to re-instate the path at the front of our 6 Bay tunnel that had to be dug out following the oil contamination.John and Vinny have laid it and Helen has been watering it at times through the day to stop it drying out to quickly.At 9 I went down to Shropshire with a full load of plants which is a four hour round trip.
The new pipe arrived this afternoon for the heated bench refurbishment project.We have started to thread it into place while the pipe was warm after being in the sun.600m of pipe to fit into a 50m squared bench.After an hour or so the pipe had gone to cold to carry on and was starting to kink in the bends.
Moved the first Pansy seedlings out this afternoon.We have also been getting our feed in tariff paper work done and tomorrow morning we have one of the second EPC visits.
The weather has been good.Yesterday managed to paint and re-instate the weather vain back on the roof.
Today I think I have earned my pay.
