Flooding
Drove up to the Thames at Goring for a coffee and a very short walk along the Thames. The river was very high but had clearly been higher, by the look of all the debris that had clearly been left behind as the water receded again. It must have looked quite impressive to see, although probably less so if you lived in one of the huge houses whose gardens run down to the riverbank. What can I say!
Home for lunch and to watch the Dambusters in the afternoon (Adam is on a Second World War films spree), and then we treated ourselves to a meal out at a local pub in the evening. Very nice!
