Agatha’s House
We walked to Greenway today, Agatha Christie’s holiday home (National Trust). It is a favourite walk. The green lanes were muddy and wet. Bird of the day was a raven, and unprecedented, I didn’t buy a book in the secondhand bookshop. I like this view of the house. From here Agatha could look down on the river Dart. Magnolias were flowering. They are one of the oldest flowering plants on earth. Named after French botanist Pierre Magnol, they symbolise nobility, purity, and grace.
