The newts are awake

Went out for a 10.5k run this morning.  Pleased not to have been rained on. Used the new black top I bought yesterday with my new bright sunflower print leggings.The river has already risen again since yesterday afternoon.
Made a jerk sweet potato and black bean curry for tea. 
Spent the rest of the day on my blanket. Popped out into the garden at dusk and found the newts very active on such a mild day. I love our newts but miss the frogs that used to crowd the pond at this time of year. My camera is very unhappy and I'm not sure how much longer it's going to last.
