Fingers crossed for a fine day

Squelch, squelch, squelch. Walked Indie, back having coffee with Mum, when my brother, Roger arrived. "Chris & Leanne are on their way over to pressure wash the paving". Result! Would have been good to have a little more notice, but our plans for the day were flexible. Chris & Rog worked away & made a really great job, while Leanne exhausted Mum & I with her continuous banter. She looked through some of the family photos which we sorted yesterday. We were going through the Newton Abbot & District Ladies Auxiliary charity golf day photos, Rog, & Neil, our brother who passed away many years ago were both in one of the foursome photos. Rog enjoyed looking through them as well, so it was a win win.
Mum came back to Chudleigh for mid afternoon roast, dropping her home & settled in just as Countryfile began.
