Flowers on the grave
This is over the top backlit but I liked that I can see Dad’s name as Mum and I put a bowl of violas on his grave, the day before the third anniversary of his death.
The day began with the remnants of last night’s rain thundering down but gradually it cleared and the weather was glorious for the rest of the day. But boy it’s muddy round here and Woody and I went for a walk rather than slogging down the muddy field to get the papers.
Had lunch at Mum’s, beautifully cooked by her carer and then she and I went up to the church. I’d made a marmelade cake so we had that for tea.
Back home for a call with JC and then watched the BAFTAs. None of my friends won but it was an enjoyable watch and David Tennant was pretty good at hosting. He really is that charming as a person, with boundless energy so he held it all together.
