Stonehaven is becoming known for the statues positioned along the seafront near the car park and harbour. The most recent of these statues is this one representing a lobster.

We had a little walk at the beach today, stopping at the harbour for awhile and sitting in the sunshine. That is a first for this year. I think it is only last week at the beach was closed due to a storm. Unsurprisingly given the weather there were a lot of people around. A few even paddling in the sea, as well as lots of dogs, several of whom were swimming in the sea.

We also collected coffee from the nearby Pier café.
