Shed

A trip to Stanhope today.  The journey there involves driving over the moors.  We managed to dodge the sheep stepping out onto the road.  At the highest point we got out of the car for a few seconds but it was incredibly windy so we did not linger.  We then dropped down into Stanhope which is a market town in the Durham Dales.  We did a walk beside the river and close by I saw the words painted on the side of a shed - very poignant.  The shed is in someones garden and I have a feeling that they may be ex military.

My extra shows the home of the Stanhope Silver Band which is still going strong after 200 years and regularly plays concerts.
