seaside pal
A bit of sea air was needed. Jess and I headed down to Kippford. We thought about crossing the causeway to Rough Island (see extra) but the first part was very muddy, even at low tide, so we did the circular walk to Rockcliffe and the Mote of Mark instead. At Rockcliffe we sat on a bench for a rest and watched the world go by (Jess was watching people visiting the ice cream van, which was doing excellent business for a Monday in mid-February).
So the energy is returning, and hopefully the appetite will follow soon. All I fancied for tea tonight was beans on toast, but at least it will be quick to make :-)
