Hadrian's Wall

The forecast for the Lakes wasn't great today - and as it's still half term, weekends can be a bit manic. We decided to drive over to Hadrian's Wall (Parked at twice Brewed) and walked along the wall for a few miles.

I always love this viewpoint, and haven't yet managed to get the light I really want there. (mist would be fantastic)! Today, after waiting for about 20 minutes, I did manage to get a gap in the clouds and a glimmer of light shining through.

Sycamore Gap looks very different without the lovely Sycamore tree.

A good day on the whole - the rain stayed off mostly.
