Progress

This morning I took time off the long-running solver developments to tackle an issue raised by a collaborator. It was an interesting bug, as it had been sitting there as a potential issue since my former PhD student wrote the particular solver more than 10 years ago. It was soon fixed!

After lunch, I got back to the development work, adding code to help me understand the most complex of our solvers so that I can complete the addition of a new feature. 

The morning had been sunny, but it clouded in the afternoon until the sun broke through as it lowered and was shining through into my attic office.
