Beginnings and Endings

The willow is starting to bud.

Earlier we joined the village to say pay our respects to Eddie Chambers as he made his last journey past the garage he started over 70 years ago. He leaves three generations to take up the baton of vehicle rescue, and the cheapest fuel around ! I was very glad to be rescued by him many years ago, up on Alston moor on a cold wet winter's day, when my exhaust had fallen off.
