Last hurrah of half term

Today was an inset day, so a cheeky extra to half term.

I booked the day off and the small one picked the farm park option.

Ummmm. It felt like an expensive play barn with token animals. We went because of lambing but that was a bit rubbish, young person just read some stuff off of a laminated sheet. They don't actually have sheep themselves they borrow a few for lambing season so they can do the 'experience'. We then got told most of the sheep and lambs were out in the paddock.

We did find them but over all I was very disappointed considering how much it cost to get in. Small one had fun though (mainly because of the playbarn).

It did look like they had an amazing outside playground as well but that was closed off due to flooding which yep I can understand but I don't remember anything on the website about part of it being closed.

Wish we'd gone to the dairy farm park instead (they actually have their own sheep).
