Museum of Flight

A great museum to visit, if you are in the greater Edinburgh area, is the National Museum of Flight in East Fortune, which takes about an hour to get to from Edinburgh on public transport. Unlike other aviation museums I've been to, they really have a lot of planes you can actually go inside, as well as a fantastic hands-on gallery for kids to find out all about the science behind flight.
