Filling in a few more….

After the office was decorated we found a random wire that didn’t seem to go anywhere. We cut it - stupidly close to the wall as well - and it turned out to be the phone line. So no internet. Panic ensued. We don’t even have good mobile phone signal in the house to use 5G. John managed to rig this up and it worked surprisingly well until we got it sorted. Scary how much we depend on the one little copper wire!
