Wisconsin Air National Guard
I was driving home from work when I noticed that FINALLY the planes were coming into the airport from North to South! (We live about 10 minutes from the airport, & most of the time the planes come in from over the lake, East to West, or they circle around & come in West to East). Why am I happy when they come North to South? Because if you want to take pictures of the planes, there's a huge hill they fly over as they are descending to the airport, so you can stand on the side of the hill & get some really nice shots. They look really cool when they're coming in with a blue sky or pretty sunset behind them--unfortunately today was cloudy & rainy yet again! But still nice! This plane is one of the Wisconsin Air National Guard planes--It's a KC 135 refueler. The state name is across the tip of the tail. (view large) :)
