An unexpected treat

An unplanned trip into the Bail for tea tonight; nice food, a good natter and some interesting eavesdropping on other diners was a lovely end to another busy day. Walking back round by the cathedral not only did we see lots of the new stonework which has had all the boarding removed (definitely future blips) but the entrance to the Bishop's Palace was open for us to nip in. Not the best of skies but still a chance blip.
