Survivor

This tree is remarkable - the trunk has split in two, and half of it is now almost horizontal. One of the winter storms pushed it further over and now the branches trail in the river. The local kids climb all over it and the horizontal section is a favourite seat for many. And yet it seems totally fine. The photo shows part of the horizontal section.
