Garden roller

Today I had a walk in Regent Gardens, the private gardens behind our offices. Although I’ve worked there for over 30 years, it is the first time I’ve been able to enter them. At lunchtime, three of us took the dog of a keyholder for a walk and were able to wander round the rather lovely 12 acre garden on the side of Calton Hill. The old (Victorian?) garden roller beside the tennis court caught my eye. I don’t suppose it is actually used anymore, but it makes a good garden ornament. 

I’ve put in a couple of extras of the lovely spring display in the gardens.
