An amble around our hot summer garden...
...after lunch today.
The agapanthus are finishing; the view from our roadside boundary looks over to our neighbour's silage pit and on to the horizon and Mount Pirongia.
The bumble bees are enjoying the wildflowers we sowed a few weeks ago and under some of the North American maples there is a hint of autumn just around the corner.
Ever hopeful , I planted another dozen or so lettuce seedlings after dinner this evening.
