Another ‘close to home’ blip…

The weather here is the same as the mainland; rain, rain, and more rain. And it certainly feels colder too. So collecting a bacon roll I’d ordered from the shop next door is as far as I will wander today.
I did think about WidWed but wide load is not so easy here since we have no wide roads. When the Germans brought their large Mirus gun here they had to knock down several walls and a couple of houses to get it around the corners to its final resting place.
Normally I’d think laterally and come up with an idea but my brain appears to have gone soggy so I’ll stay put and try to get as much value as I can from my Kindle Unlimited monthly subscription.
