What a contrast in the weather

The night was wet and stormy and when I awoke and looked through the window the cock pheasant had brought his harem of 10 birds into the garden to shelter.  They were well out of the wind and wet and snuggled into the hedge for a doze.  After that they got up and sauntered a few feet along to another part of the hedge with the cock in the middle of them.  No gardening today!
