I rang the surgery late on this morning. After an hour & 20 minutes on hold, we got through and were told that Mr W's referral, which had been returned from the pharmacist on Monday, will be reviewed by a GP but they didn't know when. Half an hour later, we had a call offering an appointment this afternoon. According to the confirmation text message, he was booked in to see a "Dr G Triage"..
Anyway, Mr W has a chest infection and is on antibiotics, but should be well enough to go to see Bill Bailey on Saturday evening without annoying the rest of the audience with his coughing. Fingers crossed...
