The only bright spot

A really miserable day. It poured down all morning and I got soaked walking to a friend’s house for coffee. I had planned to go for a walk in the afternoon but, although the heavy rain had stopped, it was very windy with intermittent drizzle so I gave up the idea and read my book. At least I had my colourful primroses to look at through my kitchen window.
