Head to Head

Another in the Wings Over Prestwick series tonight.

Definitely dream time at Prestwick, with a large number of spotters out. Not one but two of the now famous Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner planes. Hopefully the batteries in these two have been sorted.

G-TUIA (Living the Dream) and G-TUIC (Dream Maker) are two of three Dreamliner aircraft recently added to the Thomson fleet.

Bet that the captains were not too pleased tonight though as both these planes had to sit and wait at the end of the runway for 10 minutes whilst a single engine Chipmunk light aircraft came in to land.
