Bringing things into crocus

The crocuses in my garden are all coming out to play, although the wind was giving them a hard time today. I now need to read the dictionary to find out why it's crocuses and not crocii (or even crocodes...!).

I managed to mostly sneak around the squalls this evening with a dark o'clock ride to the shops for yoghurt and a bunch of reduced things that will do a lunch or three. Mirabel is definitely better with the slightly taller stem, all things considered, and the Brooks saddle is the first saddle I think I've ever had where I wasn't really conscious of it all the time.
