Brazilian beauties!

This is Cecilia and Larissa, two of my Brazilian friends here in Paris. We braved the first day of summer sales on Rue de Rivoli today for a short little while after I'd finished work (couldn't have lasted a minute longer). I bought a pair of jeans and that is all. This shot is taken right in front of the "Hôtel de ville" and I think Cecilia was taking a photo of me, taking a photo of her at the same time.

Otherwise not much excitement today, had a fairly good and definitely more productive day at work today compared to yesterday. I met an old man, who lives in one of the appartments we're renovating, who's lived in that same appartment since January 1955. According to him Paris has changed A LOT and all towards the worse. Can't imagine what it must have been like in the 50's, but I can imagine good. Somehow this old man made me feel incredibly sad, I think because he reminded me so much of my Granny. Similar age and similar eagerness to feel involved and a part of what is going on.

I'm supposed to be packing and cleaning, leaving on Saturday (and still not sure where I'm going to stay for the first week). :/ Instead I've watched the 4th Harry Potter film and messed around for the internet. I'll never learn...
