Beavers
Recently I met a young lady, who was counting all different kinds of wild animals around the Gersprenz in our area. For instance the European edible dormouse.
Her findings will be used to determine whether the bypass road in the B38 for our village can be built. I asked her whether she had seen beavers, and indeed she had, at two different locations.
I was not so lucky thus far. The only thing I see is trees that are either eaten bald (no bark anymore) or completely cut. Like the one here in my entry. And it are not always the same, but new ones appear. So we do have beavers, even when I don't see them.
Thanks to AndrewNZ for hosting the Wide Wednesday challenge this month.
