Peabody Museum

One of the things I really wanted to do while I was up in CT was get to a natural history museum. I had never seen a dinosaur skeleton before and really wanted to have the experience.

The museum was really nice, gram and I spent the afternoon checking out the exhibits. This shot is from the second floor looking down on the dinosaur fossil room. There were also gems, a great Native American exhibition, and fossils of per-historic mammals.

I think my favorite part though was the large room filled with birds of CT. It was so neat to get to see their colors up close and get a true sense of scale.
