TV Centre party
Dreadful weather today and I came into London in the wrong shoes. They had leather soles that soaked up the water and drenched my socks. Coupled with strong wind blowing my umbrella out as I walked up from Waterloo to drop off my bag meant that the day that was planned, a lot of out of office meetings normally my favourite thing, felt a bit of a challenge.
However the first one was cancelled so we spent the morning in the office and I bought some quite simple non expensive trainers. An afternoon at FCC signing off VFX and then over to TV Centre in White City for a BBC Drama party. Everytime I’m there I relive the many many years I spent working there and I marvel at how it’s changed. The party was full of old friends so it was a jolly evening.
But I didn’t really eat anything so the night ended with me scoffing a slightly stale Pret cheese sandwich with a packet of crisps in my hotel hub.
Delicious.
