Rise

Water levels in Red Brick Dam are on the rise again, although still a couple of feet lower than last week. 

Later, I headed down to Valley Parade for the EFL Trophy semi-final, with City having home advantage but with the visitors, Wycombe Wanderers, being from the league above.  It was widely acknowledged as Bradford’s finest display of the season: wave after wave of attacking football, but they were unable to convert a host of chances. And then the inevitable: Wycombe snuck in a winner in added time, massively against the run of play. It’s a shame to miss out on a Wembley final having got so close - now all the energy has to go into chasing down a play-off spot in the league.
