Moon At Sunset

I had a few hours in Hereford (England, UK) with a hospital appointment for a hearing test, followed by some shopping. The walk to the hospital was under my umbrella due to the rain, which continued on the drive home.

Late afternoon I was surprised to see it brighten up and some sunset colour in the clouds as 96% waxing gibbous moon (full on 24th) rose behind. Nice to get them both withe some detail of the moon.

The temperature has dropped with my car thermometer sounding to indicate it had fallen to 4C. It's likely to fall much lower overnight. I'm sure Mrs BB said there was a chance of sleet but as usual I wasn't paying full attention!
