Ballantrae Hotel, Edinburgh

Visited Edinburgh today (for a stag do!) and stayed at this fabulous old converted house near Haymarket.

This is a shot of one of many chandeliers hanging from the ceiling - where else?

The shot was taken with my old Kodak digital camera - as I did not trust myself to bring along my Canon 400d.

This chandelier was in the bar area where we had a few beers before going for a curry at Omar Khayyam's curry house near by, then the Haymarket pub before ending up back in the hotel bar - where we had a few whiskeys (bad idea).

Got very drunk and felt sick the rest of my time in Edinburgh.
