Far Flung Trio (again)
A very varied day. We have the painters in next week for the second phase of redecoration. This time they're tackling a lot, including the hall, stairs and landing, and our lounge. We started emptying the lounge this morning - filling one side of the dining room with the boxes and furniture (may feature in a future blip). One job was to empty the CDs out of their storage cabinet (seen at the back of the room in this photo). I've lashed out and ordered a Brennan electronic music storage system, and instead of putting them back, I plan to rip them all. We can then box them and store them in the loft.
Then I found time for some hand sewing, before we had a delivery of topsoil and wood (see extra). Topsoil to fill the raised beds, wood to build compost bins.
And then in the evening, we went to a concert in Waterford. We saw this trio in Thomastown just 10 days ago so today made certain to get there early, and had seats on the front row. They didn’t disappoint.
