Wandering around the garden

Looking for what’s new and spotted the blackcurrant bushes now showing a little colour. Always good to see, fingers crossed the frost doesn’t damage as many this year.

Also purple crocus with a daffodil amongst them, I think this is my favourite colour in this family. This was a potted plant from a friend many years ago, once transferred to the garden it ‘blossomed’.

Thankfully there are masses of daffodils showing flower buds, the early plants, flowering anything from mid to late January, didn’t flower this year.

The new arrival is very good, we need to gradually introduce her to the others although she prefers the ‘let me out now’ plan, that could work, or not. Grey boy arrived home last night after a two day stop out, he is beside me now, purring in his sleep.
