Friday walk

After yesterday's rain, today was sunny until mid afternoon - yay!! We took S out for a local walk - backroads & a farm drive - avoiding paths known to be muddy. The road had actually dried up surprisingly well, meaning that puddles didn't meet across the middle, although there was still plenty of water lying on the fields, especially where the soil had been compacted. Many fields still contain last year's stubble as it hasn't been possible to resow due to the excessive rain.
