Hogsmeade Station
Visited nearby Goathland this morning.
The little station there was used as the setting for the fictional Hogsmeade Station, the final stop on the Hogwarts Express which took Harry Potter and his mates to school.
Spotted some muggles waving from the bridge.
The village itself, in a beautiful rural setting, was the filming location for Heartbeat, a series we never watched, though you couldn’t miss the references to it.
A shame the village stores coffee shop served up probably the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted.
The flat whites definitely didn’t have the standard two shots of coffee.
In fact, it was dubious if there was even one shot of coffee in it! Yeuch!!!
A muddy walk, in which tours truly slipped and got covered in mud, yuk!
Back to Whitby, walk on the harbour walls, played several games of SkyJo, dinner then a final binge watch of the Block.
Home tomorrow, early start.
