ELCH
We arrived at the ELCH (East Lothian Community Hospital) in good time this morning for Donald to meet with his Parkinsons Consultant. Donald was amused in the waiting area to see daddy, mummy and baby bear size chairs and so I couldn't resist taking his pic in the large one.
The Consultant, our last visit to him as from now on we'll be with someone based in Edinburgh, is such a great chap. Always candid and clear so you know exactly where you are with no beating about the bush. There is a new diagnosis now on top of the Parkinsons and hopefully his GP will be able to make a referral for an appointment in the very busy Memory department where they can assess the extent of deterioration and medicate to keep it in abeyance as much as possible. Donald takes it all in his stride, he is amazing.
Anyway, we came back for lunch and both had a wee snooze. Luke came for the car when he'd finished Uni and now we've just watched another episode of Enadeavour.
