Hailstones

It was sunny this morning but as soon as I wanted to go out it rained and hailed!!! Fortunately it didn’t last too long but it rained for the rest of the afternoon.
I went to visit my daughter as she couldn’t come to me while the painter and tiler were working in her kitchen and bathroom.
It’s my birthday today and I went to meet a friend for tea/cake after I visited my daughter. She joined us later when the workmen had gone. We are going out for lunch tomorrow with my niece and her family for another birthday day of celebration.
