Not ours

No, this is not our car.  It is a feature outside a hotel on the River Thames near Oxford .  We are here for the weekend to celebrate the 70th birthday of my friend Christine, a colleague from early in our teaching careers and a much loved friend.

The river is very high and we came over an old toll bridge where we had to stop to pay.  Unfortunately we had no change with us at all so if we go back that way we have promised to pay a double toll:  10p.  Oh dear.
