Firemen to the rescue!

The firemen didn't have an emergency today. They were nice enough to stop by scout camp and cool the scouts off with the hoses. The water rained down on 250 boys! They got soaking wet and they loved it!

The only casuality, of course, was my son. He got knocked down in the excitement and hit his head on the asphalt - he's fine! He was more mad than hurt. After an ice pack and a ice pop, he calmed down.

The water looked cool, shooting out of the canons with such force. Probably not the best thing to do in drought conditions for water conservation....oh well. It was much appreciated.
