Local Landmark

Flat battery in the spare car tonight so I took it for a drive around the peninsular to charge it up a bit. This iconic phone box surrounded by pohutukawa trees in Karaka Bay features in many paintings and photographs depicting Wellington. Luckily it survived the battering that the area received last Thursday night.
