A Day At A Time.

The Escape Artist

While we were playing ball in the garage earlier, someone unexpectedly came though the outer gate and quick as a flash Bruno sped past me and out into the night.

I couldn't tell which way he had gone, so I searched the track behind my flat, thinking he would have disappeared into the bamboo. But no sign.

Then I looked along the roads next to my urbanisation. But sign of Broudini was there none.

Jacqui said she would come and help look, but before she got to me, she spotted B lying by the bins, gnawing on a lamb bone. After some cajoling, Bruno went to her and was recaptured.

He spent the rest of the evening exhausted after his brief taste of freedom.

Needless to say, he is now grounded for ever.
