Loki, God of Mischief (Friday 23rd February 2024)

Finally managed to escape from Calne for a day and had appointments for eye tests in Chippenham and Buzz matters at the Melksham dealership. In between times I did some shopping, recycled blister packs at Superdrug and explored the Shires Centre in Trowbridge, drove over the flooded Avon at Lacock and spent some time with C. and a lazy Loki,

Friday's Late Junction was presented by the excellent Jennifer Lucy Allan under the title Newt Junction, and included all kinds of sounds from amphibians and plenty of strange musics. Unsurprisingly, as she is a huge fan of Yoko Ono, and there is a major exhibition of her work at Tate Modern at the moment, she played this track from her album Fly.
