Ross-on-Wye

We went to Ross-on-Wye this morning.  The original plan was to stay at The Royal Hotel for two or three nights but we were put off by the weather forecast, local flooding, and accessibility. So we decided on just a day trip and a chance to meet up with Pete.  

Pete drove over and met us at the hotel where we spent a very pleasant time over coffee and lunch.  The place was quite busy, but I'd booked a table.

I took a couple of photos before we went into the hotel.  The main picture is of the very high River Wye, the extra is a pic of the hotel.  The flooding didn't affect the roads, and it didn't rain, in fact it was sunny most of the day.
