In the garden

I put on walking boots and ventured down the soaking wet lawn as I was determined to get a photo of the daffodils and heather in full bloom.

We had friends visit us this afternoon and had a good catch up. The weather varied between sunshine and pouring rain. I had to pull some blinds down in the conservatory for the first time this year as the setting sun is coming further across the western sky and shines in my face now. Summer is on its way!
