First of the year

A bright and cold day today but there was some warmth in the sun and I put my washing out on the line for the first time this year.

Bailey was quite unsteady this morning but some googling about his meds suggested that side effects from his painkillers might be one cause or certainly exacerbating what was a more minor problem. The vet agreed and we have stopped those. He’ll carry on with the anti-inflammatories and he also needs a half unit increase on his insulin as the fructosamine test showed that his levels were high. I might be imagining it or being overly optimistic but I think he is steadier on his back legs tonight than he was last night which is a good sign.
