Rainy day

Quick run in car down to village and when down there keep my eyes open for blip opportunities but did not see any, so it was back to the garden.......

The bracts on the Himalayan Honeysuckle are now out and bring a lovely wine colour to the surrounding garden. In July and August the plant bears spikes of white tubular flowers. In the autumn they have shiny purple-black berries

So with it raining the grass cutting will have to wait for another day
