Lesson #3

After driving an automatic car for 50 years, learning to ride a manual motorcycle is not easy but isbi’s nailing it.
Lesson #1 was just refreshing her memory on the controls and achieving a nice smooth takeoff without doing a wheel stand through the barbed wire fence.
Lesson #2 was doing laps of the paddock and doing turns while avoiding rocks and wombat burrows.
Lesson #3 today involved a bit of the above plus hill starts and bumpy ground. The closest we came to a nasty accident was carrying out the photography necessary for this blip at high speed (15kph).
Lesson #4 tomorrow will involve more serious hill starts and a gravel road.
