This ornate cast-iron Edwardian fountain is at the main entrance to the Botanic Gardens - opposite the Arts Centre in Christchurch.

These 19th century Gothic styled buildings were originally home to the University of Canterbury, the original Girls’ High School and the original Boys’ High School.
